After coming up short on another advantage later in the period, the home team moved ahead by a goal with 3:50 to play in regulation as McClement lifted a wrister inside the right post.
Tkachuk's quick pass from the back boards in front to McDonald 23 seconds later gave the Blues a 5-3 advantage.
A late power play saw Backes follow up a loose puck and slam it past a diving McElhinney from the top of the crease to cap the burst with 2:01 remaining.
Beleskey put the Ducks on the board at 3:36 of the first, then Lars Eller equalized for the Blues at 13:58.
Eric Brewer gave St. Louis a 2-1 edge less than four minutes into the second, but Ryan drew Anaheim even at 8:25.
Belesky picked up his second of the night with 4:25 to play in the period and the Ducks led 3-2 after 40 minutes.

The Blues finished the home portion of their schedule with six straight wins and went 18-18-5 in the Gateway City this season...Beleskey posted his first career multi-goal game...The Ducks close out 2009-10 on Sunday at home against Edmonton.
